FAMILY SEPARATION IS A CRIME AGAINST HUMANITY
People migrate to the U.S for a better life for not only themselves but for their family as well which is why they should be given the opportunity to live here as well and have similar/the same opportunities as US citizens. Seperating families wouldn't do any good to the children of immigrant parents because this can cause mental health problems like anxiety and depression.
It is very unreasonable to why they are treating them like this. We are all human and we are all equal. These people should be given beds and personal space, especially right now with the pandemic of COVID-19 going on that is contagious, there should be proper distancing as well as proper medical care. Do you ever wonder if these people even have the chance to actually take a shower?
Currently in McAllen,Texas there are immigrant children are being illegaly detained at a Hampton Inn & Suites. There are children as young as a 1 year old are being detained for days and even weeks. The Trump administration has begun to expel asylum seekers immediately. These children in these hotel rooms are in risk of experiencing trauma due to the unfamiliar environment they are in.
Hey my name is Citlali and I made this website because growing up as a child of immigrant parents I see that life for my parents wasn’t so easy especially coming to a country that you know nothing about.Yet they worked very hard to give my siblings and I the life we have now. Those who are the children of immigrant parents face the fear of having their parents away from them and sent back to their country. Children then need to either go with a relative or even go with their parent/s. This in fact would be hard for them because it’s an entire different lifestyle and environment compared to the life they already have here in the U.S
